It is a well-established fact that laboratories must be an integral part of the curriculum in order to teach science and computing properly and effectively. Carmel has fully equipped physics, chemistry, biology and computer laboratories. Here, students are given every opportunity to interact directly with natural phenomena or other collected data using tools, materials, equipment and models. The corresponding subject teachers guide the students in all kinds of laboratory practices and research work.

In the science laboratories, the science teachers mainly teach how to make observations and collect evidence, a large part of which the students experience in the laboratory or in the field, helping students to develop a deep understanding of the content of science and understand the nature of science, science attitudes and natural science reasoning skills. All the three science laboratories namely Physics, Chemistry and Biology are fully equipped with all necessary equipments, instruments, models, rare specimens etc. promotion of innovations and multidisciplinary learning and research activities. The labs are secure, very spacious and have a desk or tables and chairs and access to water and electricity for all experiments.
